The person underneath The Saudi family values, ambitions and dreams changed dramatically over the course of the past 18 years.
Today I will talk about the style shift that’s happening.
I can still recall the Gulf war in 1990-1991, I recall back then how life was so simple, so quite, so safe from the impact of the new age culture of the early 90’s and the heavy exposure to the western conflict between the rising hip culture led by thug rappers and the dying pop culture and its ongoing sexual and ethical scandals and the down fall of the king of the pop Michael Jackson, adding to that the rebirth and the beginning of the embrace of the Rock culture.
So suddenly we shifted from our traditional dress and the sport or army suit if your lucky to the baggy COLORFUL pants that gives the impression you were wearing the remains of your mom’s curtain’s and make you look like another peace of the furniture walking down the street.
Soon we moved to wearing jeans that were so baggy you can fit a picnic basket in it while wearing it on top of a huge T-shirt and a bandana or a black cap covering the fade haircut called back then “Ciboria”.
Going to the new millennium I saw as many of you saw and still see some weird styles that really define weird.
But the thing I am here to talk about today is “The person Underneath The Clothes”
I see a lot of good young men/women running crazy after the latest fashion, and the race falls under tow categories. 1st The Ladies:
OK ladies don’t hate me for what I am about to say “sorry but what is presented by that Lebanese or that other Lebanese wont make you look Lebanese”.
You are pretty just how you are, if your man loves you he will look at you beneath the fancy clothes , the hair dye and the colored lenses, he will look at your true beauty, the beauty that will never fade with days he will look at you, and regarding the other ladies who want to show off and over dress their rivals I advise them to look in the mirror and try to look at how beautiful she can be just for being her self , because in the end people will not love you for the way you look or dress at least not the right people. 2nd The Men:
Wow I don’t know where to start to make it simple we have three types of men nowadays.
Type 1: a man
Type2: shabab cool
Type3: Fagots
And back in the day type 2&3 would be called “خكري” don’t get me wrong I have nothing against type 2….or3 if they keep distance, its just you see the guy with that huge afro looking like a tree “dose they water those things, I wonder how?” or you see them with those smooth curly black bangs covering there faces wearing their little sister’s jeans swinging his hips like an ugly prostitute……..
So I want to ask these people, why are you dressing up like that?
We all know the answers, but we always deny it or avoid asking our selves that question.
So think a bit about the person underneath the clothes, underneath the flesh, and look at your soul in the mirror and see how beautiful you are. copied with all my love
